How long ago did you receive the 1/18 orientation date? I’ve had ATP/CTP done since October and was told I’d be contacted regarding orientation date as soon as they received the schedule for 2024.

I got the email 12/26 with the confirmation for the 1/18 orientation. You'll probably want to email the recruiting coordinator about that. I can PM you the email address if you don't have it.

I emailed them today and the recruiting coordinator replied saying I’d most likely be in the next class but no confirmation just yet. I’m not a cadet but have had my time since September and just frustrated at how they seem to be pushing me off and can never give me a solid answer.

Anghera10 01-02-2024 09:18 AM

Hey can you send me that email address as well as a PM message. I am trying to get into contact with them.
Thanks

May I get the email form you too?
10/30/23 interview and received pre-offer.
Last time I called the recruiter number and they have not sent my stuff through captain review board yet.

Flynboat 01-03-2024 07:30 AM

Can you pass along that email.

Would greatly appreciate the email address. Sent you a PM.

Thanks for your help.

liquefaction 01-03-2024 06:04 PM

Sent a PM to all of you. Just a heads up, I did speak with one of the class prep recruiters when I was in there the other day doing fingerprints and they're currently only onboarding cadet instructors. With the holidays, they haven't been doing any interviews or anything. Currently the next orientation is 1/18/24 with the next in February. Orientations are only ran once a month.

Envoy has a tendency to prioritize onboarding DECs and cadets. Off the street FO hires are most likely slotted in on a space available basis about two weeks prior to each Indoc date. If you can take less than two weeks notice, you could volunteer to fill in for last minute cancellations. I am a DEC who started last March, this is just my observation.

mike11 01-11-2024 07:37 AM

interviewed and got pre-offer early nov 2023. been over 2 months still no class date. curious how long others waited before receiving a CJO and class date?

6230ii 01-12-2024 05:54 AM

interviewed 10/30. Got pre-approved letter.

I did not get any response for 2 months. Yes, I called the general recruiter phone number once a week to see if I passed captain review board. They did not have the answer.
I emailed the the general recruiter email provided by liquefaction on first week of January 2024. I needed to check general timeline since my flight safety will be due next month.
Then I got a call next day. They asked if I can hop in the 1/18 orientation. They needed the answer immediately.
Great appreciate for everyone's help.

I am not cadet nor DEC.

Any updates on this? What is the timeframe from interviewing/offer to orientation? Is orientation where you start getting paid and are an employee or is that not until Indoc? Envoy is really where I'd want to end up and my interview is soon but classdates are so hard to come by these days and I have 3 coming up in March.

In Orientation they put you on the payroll and you can sign up for travel and medical benefits. They give you a study guide and ask you to learn it before Indoc when you get your IPad and company ID.

A new hire FO I flew with the other day said she was called for a Republic ground school right after they implemented the new contract. He declined an applied to Envoy and was called for an interview in a week and hired. He made it sound like the training went fairly quickly. These things vary so someone else probably has more recent information.

Are you a cadet / FO / DEC?

Wonder if class sizes are getting larger due to more aircraft coming in?

N711HK 03-02-2024 07:28 AM

I am an off the street FO hire. Not a Cadet, or DEC. 1600 hour CFI with no turbine time.

I first applied August 2023 with 1300TT. Got an auto email saying to update my apps at mins a few days later. Hit 1500 and 25 multi October 2023. Updated my app weekly from that point on. Got an invite to interview first week of Feb 2024. So my app sat there for awhile. I have coworkers who had luck emailing Envoy recruiting kindly asking for an interview. We are all 1500 hour CFIs with no turbine time.

Envoy supposedly has their CA/FO imbalance issues solved. They are FO hungry for the first time in awhile. Recruiters were claiming 2 Indoc classes a month with 75+ FOs. Those are late 2021/2019 numbers. I heard horror stories of the Review Board taking months, but I was approved in about 2 weeks. Good luck. I'm excited to start.

I have a class date at another AA WO, but it has been pushed 3 times. I'd rather be at Envoy anyways.

flyingtiger4838 03-03-2024 05:11 AM

Is it possible envoy will be keeping up this FO hiring for at least the next two or three months? Im less than a month from mins and I was hoping to get an interview with them.

I can't even apply for the FO position on Airline Apps. The only option is to apply as a cadet but I have my 1,500 hours already.
