Starting at Envoy as an entry level FO

I have orientation/indoc March 7 in dallas. Just curious as to...

How junior is PHX?

How are upgrades looking in PHX?

I live in vegas but hoping to get PHX as a base.

PHX is a very small base and remains to be seen if/how fast it will grow.

As a new FO in PHX, you will do very little flying... I'm talking 1 trip every 4-6 weeks. Lines have been added for March and this should continue through the summer, but it will remain the smallest base, with the least flying.

PHX will most likely be available in training, but you would fly more and be able to hold a line much faster in DFW. The most junior person awarded PHX CA has a November 2023 hire date.

An ALPA rep told me that PHX isn't expected to grow much past the 36 hard lines it has in March. A company email of projected lines of flying shows 30 PHX lines in April, 31 PHX lines in May, and 36 PHX lines in June.

Sorry for being off-topic but out of curiosity what was the timeline for you after getting your pre offer of employment

I'd also like to know as well. I got the pre emplyment offer 2/14. My current employer sent the PRIA paperwork back to Envoy within 24 hours of receiving it. The HR team when I was the HQ made it seem like they'd have us to orientation rather soon. They were boasting about having large classes as well. I have the written done, so maybe that'll help as well. I'm buying a lottery ticket if they send the CJO this Friday after the Thursday Review Boards.

CA review board usually takes a while. Some people have waited days, some people weeks, and some months. Having the written done should help you expedite but don't hold your breath for friday.
