Just because we have some crap about 'Operated By' painted on the side of the airplane doesn't mean anything has to change with ATC. |
I am so sick of this airline propaganda targeting the naive flying public into thinking a new name=better airline. What a crock...

The name change is because Wisconsin, PSA, Piedmont, Expressjet, Skywest have (or will have) American Eagle painted on their planes when they do AA flying. To smear the brand 'American Eagle' across all these other carriers, mgmt felt they had to change the name of our airline to something else, hence Envoy. Even though we'll have 'Operated by Envoy Airlines' painted in hard-to-read letters on the nose of the aircraft, we'll always be the real American Eagle as far as I'm concerned. |

Most of the flying public are not even aware of names such as 'Republic,' or, 'Chautauqua,' or, 'Mesa,' or, 'Endeavor.' As far as they're concerned, it's still well paid pilots from American, Delta, or United at the controls of their flight. |
Look up 'envoy' in a dictionary and thesaurus. It means a conclusion. Or concluding. Supports AAL's decision of shutting them down.
