You don't play poker with your cards face-up.

AND - baiting Mason shows you are clueless too - it is readily transparent that your lame attempts to call him out to soothe your impatience are falling on deaf ears. Educate yourself on negotiating techniques and then come back and offer something to the forum that is worthwhile instead of whining.
There I said it - sorry but you need to grow up
This isn't a negotiation, it's a game played by people with enormous egos that affects normal working people. Those planes are going somewhere and nothing in the next few months is going to change their destination. The only reason we don't know where they're going yet is because AAG doesn't want staffing at Eagle to implode overnight. It's not "poker" there is no negotiations ongoing, it's just childish gamesmanship on AAG's part. As to Mason I am not "calling him out", he had accurate info at one point, but the plan has clearly changed.

This awful industry is unlike any other, employee morale isn't even considered in the slightest. This is what you get when management and employees aren't working together for the betterment of not only the stockholders but everyone who has a stake in the company, that includes the employees. Sorry, rant over.

We all knew this when we voted NO.

Move on.

It's not over. AA has asked the Envoy MEC what proposal they would support. There has been and there is ongoing communication. Currently it isn't yielding anything but there is no reason to ask a MEC what they would support if the game is over. At some point they will be back. We should be prepared to be underwhelmed, but they will be back.

We didn't 'get Delta flying' in the Northwest... Nobody did. When Delta announces new routes, its not 'more flying." The airplanes are just being shifted from somewhere else. It doesn't come with contract extensions or additional air frames. So no, that has nothing to do with it.

OK you say it's not negotiations - it's set in stone - nothing changes. then as RJ says move on because complaining does nothing.
Then you say AA asked us for a proposal - which is it?
Beg to differ on your replies to Mason but if his info was wrong, why do you need further confirmation? seeing that it is not a negotiation in your words.
I don't think you know your own inconsistencies

Nah...it's just starting.

I think we are in a cool off period, to be follow of by a I told you so. After that they probably will come back with more pressure for us to take concessions.

The problem with this theory is after the "I told you so" placement there is no incentive for us at Eagle to take any form of contract change. There would also not be any incentive for AAG to ask for it, as their aircraft would have been placed.

Spoiler: As to ongoing communication, I didn't say there was any, nor has any been confirmed. You must have confused someone else's post with my comment.

I am confining my comments to "negotiations" not "communication" as we are always involved in that.
