That is not the plan B. You are reacting to misquotes from others. Giving the planes to other vendors in not a Comair. You shrink, yes. But they will rebuild it down the road through consolidation, mergers and acquisitions.
Plan A and Plan B both end with Envoy being a 300 plane company. Different pathways to get there, that's all.

I'm too old and senior to want to leave, but if I were 35 I would have my sights somewhere else.

Guys I have said it before and will say it again Mason is leading you astray... No I don't have anything to back it up, I have no fight in all this, but I have friends who do and they are connected. I would caution you to let your union lead you at this time, even though I am not a fan of ALPA. Mason you are being called out more and more, there is a reason. Move on

Even if Envoy were to get the remaining 40 aircraft, 20 still are going to be placed elsewhere, and not until 2015. Unless the aircraft will be placed at all participating carriers in a 'round robin' fashion, Envoy could be looking at a 2016-2017 timeline for the other 40 to even start. And even then its not expansion at all, its re-fleeting.
It has already been said back in May by PF (unless something has changed) that 25 of the 140 aircraft will be retired by the end of 2014.
Then Sprague was quoted as saying "The company has made it clear that Eagle intends to park our 59 EMB 140′s and transfer our 47 CRJ 700′s to another carrier. We don’t know what that drawdown timetable looks like, but we do know we will need about 47% fewer pilots than we have on our list today"
One thing seems clear, Envoy can't survive by laying off 1/2 of the bottom of the list, the labor costs would be astronomical and force a closure.
I think a large scale merger is in Envoy's very near future. This is why they need to beat the groups down so badly as any binding arbitration is going to look at whats recently been the norm or average in the industry. This is why 12/4 is badly wanted by the company.

"We should hear something soon... later this week, or next week, or the next two weeks, later this month, by the end of next month", and so on and so on and so on....

Really? Outing someone is against the board TOS, 2. a. 4). So in addition to getting people potentially fired, you should be banned if you follow though. I disagree with a lot of Mason32's posting of a lot if this information - mostly because of many people's misplaced faith in it, but also because of it's poor specificity. However, anybody that threatens someone, threatens their anonymity, and/or those threats causing someone potential harm directly or indirectly, is a tool. You may have been a great guy at Eagle as Comm Chair, but that's no license to say what you said here.

Although, I am interested in the reason why Mason should stop posting.
Are his posts misleading or erroneous in nature?
Does his posts hurt the pilot group in some way? (outside of my previous statement that management is using a "string us along" tactic)
Are his posts hindering the negotiation process?
Do you believe he is being fed disinformation by management for a purpose?

Stop being gullible, easily manipulated kids and these deficiencies disappear. Continue this and you'll be jerked around in perpetuity at your own peril from anyone with even marginal skill.
