Envoy management offering better OT pay
Not even two months after we signed this crap contract envoy management has voluntarily come back to attempt an ineffective band-aid when we need a tourniquet to our stop the bleeding. I'll take the money but these morons won't fix our horrendous staffing issues.

Take the money, keep building your time, and get out asap. 2. Take the money, keep building your time, stop whining and wait to flow. Envoy is clearly not a good place to be, so if they are making your life sooo miserable, no seniority is worth the wrinkles on your face nor the shortened life span! There's a ton of regionals out there with <1 year upgrades and better QOL that will be happy to hire you on the spot. |
......... or you could just say no.

Truth will be told in a week. Upper management is meeting with our mec about the future, they are the ones authorized to offer the big money loas and the future hull counts. 25k a year to stay and w stable or better yet growing hull count would stop the bleeding and attract new hires.
If not the flood gates of bleeding will truly open and what few new hires eyed this place will run. |

I expect the most half assed response from the "big 6" - Up the flow by maybe 1 or 2, increase referral bonus by like $250 while not offering any actual retention bonus... MAYBE a buy out for senior captains of four months. |

If they haven't done it by now, I highly doubt your Alpa leadership will make them now. GoodLuck! |

"Hey guys, I know we pretty much gutted you, ruined many careers, and forced you into a sad place, but for the remaining you can get premium pay, basically make some money before you are let go" - love aa mgmt.

I think rj pilot is headed to Kai tak this week. So it might be a little while before he gets back.
I heard he was going to be in my neck of the woods, captaining his mighty gee five to Chicago's Meigs field. |

Just my .02 cents: I see two options here, since you're already hired there:
1. Take the money, keep building your time, and get out asap. 2. Take the money, keep building your time, stop whining and wait to flow. Not anymore. That's yesterdays news.
I don't know anything about anyone else's reserve system but it cannot be worse than ours. Beyond terrible into "drain the life out of you(and your family)" bad. I speak from experience....lots and lots of experience. |

Reserve here is absolutely terrible, and a "short upgrade" CA will certainly be on reserve for a while......A loooong while.

This happened at endevour, let's hope we follow them and not comair.
Pinnacle guys getting $20,000 a year retention bonuses? Even the bean counters at Delta could see that Comair wasn't that expensive. |

The lack of applicants may one day change things but for now the quick upgrades at the bottom feeders are attracting newhires to the lowest common denominators. |

Delta cut off their nose to spite their face. They never forgave Comair for striking and winning. They had to show CMR ALPA and the rest of the regional industry what happens to minions who dare think they are worthy of livable wages and work rules in a segment who's business model is designed to NOT have them.

Lately you see a lot of xxxCA aircraft flying in the other fleets. Maybe a way to save money... or maybe Delta's little reminder of what happens to those that step out of line? |
