No, actually for him it will be a "transition".

Of course, the pay aspect won't change much, but the shine is more beautiful and he has slats to play with now. If only the $250,000/year he claimed to make (as a Corporate new-hire yet) was real, would life then be grand for him. eh ?

Oh well..........one can always dream.

DFW to the Northern Columbian coast is only about 2,000 miles. 1,900 or so to Panama. Both of those are right at the range of the E-175 which is about 2,300 miles (2,000nm).

I expect to see an uptick of Mexico flying, possibly to places like GDL and MTY. The Caribbean is too far for most direct flights from DFW. Jamaica is within range but I'm sure that will remain a mainline route. Miami fly-through would work though.

I don't have a dog in your fight anymore, but I can see MIA coming back to EGL in the future.

He's still at Envoy. His claims of moving from Envoy to the left seat of a GV @ a starting salary of $250K/year are pure horse****.

Now I'm Carl ?

LOL !

I've never even SEEN Auburn, let alone claim to be a professor there. How did you move me from "Joey" (AKA "JJ") to Carl ?

Answer : You're just throwing more mud at the wall and this isn't sticking any better then all your previous attempts. It IS another (we're into the dozens now) attempt to "out" someone on this forum though, which is a violation of TOS.

Don't you think it's time you fessed up and admitted to all here you're still at Envoy ?

This charade is becoming embarrassing.

Cmon guys wake up. Ain't no 175's doing South America or Central America flying. They won't be stealing any mainline routes. La Romana, DR is the only Caribbean route they'll be doing in addition to Cuba charters. Those Republic guys will be lost down there anyways. They can hardly find Philly let alone some ICAO airport lol.
