I have an interview coming up. Just had a few questions as I also have an Interview with Kalitta. Weighing my options.

Is the Pilot group happy?

What are some good/bad things about Envoy?

Do most people bank on the flow to American?

Pilot group is mostly unhappy with management.

If you are a new hire now, flow shouldn’t even be part of the equation. You will likely never see it. Too many stars would have to align and that is an eternity away for someone just now interviewing at Envoy.

If you can get an interview with Kalitta you shouldn’t even be considering Envoy. You would be taking a step backward.

No 121 PIC isn't the roadblock it used to be.

Atlas, Frontier, Spirit, as well as your preferred major.

You didn’t say what your background was, but if Kalitta will call you I would imagine at least the first three would as well.

Would it be a bad move to apply/interview/start training/actually fly with Envoy as a stepping stone to get a quick flow to American? I have five internal recs with AA, am military, and have way over the minimums for AA. They just haven't called and I'm less than two months away from my availability date.

I already have a CJO from Omni and have a few other interviews scheduled. I'm looking to live around DFW either way.

Money is really not a factor at the moment, but is Envoy paying military guys the captain pay as FO?

Yes PIC CA’s are now making FO pay.. all how u look at it.
