Try again, JR.

Just wondering how much AA cares about the image that their regional partners present? I'm on a Trans States this morning with first officer grey and black North Face, and captain brown motorcycle jacket with wings pinned to it. Seriously these guys look like dog crap. At least the flight attendant looks like she cares.

Short answer, they don't care. TSA is cheap!

Clearly Inop2 does not know how to run the correct reports. But go ahead, keep cheering.
Use2fly, thank you for the numbers. The numbers changed as of this morning and will change throughout the month. Based on today's numbers the percentage of pilots on reserve is 14%, not 35%. Also- many bid reserve for potentially more time off. They want to be on reserve. Numbers based on total headcount of 1940. Changing the headcount to 1900 has little effect on the percentage.

Not trying to have an arm wrestling contest with anyone on this site. I don't have the time or energy for it. Just provide accurate data and information to help new potential candidates understand if Envoy is a good choice for them.

Sooo of the 1940, how many are in MGMT? How many are in the school house? How many are inactive? How many are still in training? Those numbers will help with accurate data. Go on I'll wait.

From the latest ALPA Interactive Seniority List:

1710 actively flying pilots
84 in the school house
185 "other"

I agree with you that accurate data is the most important thing to provide. But no status has ever been as low as 6 reserves, ever, so the big inaccuracy on this topic has come from you. And you missed ORD 145.

Also, the numbers don't really change every day. Pull up an N6D and count names. The list doesn't really change throughout the month, except for the addition of new hires/new upgrades, and the subtraction of resignations or FOs leaving for upgrade training.

Also add roughly another 60 ORD EMB145 reserve pilots.

Remember, only include pilots currently holding a bid status when calculating percent on reserve. Pilots in long term training (new hires, upgrades, etc) and management pilots aren't bidding, so you shouldn't include those pilots in your total.

Inop2, if you properly calculate it this way, you'll find that a much higher percentage of pilots are on reserve than the 14% you claim.

I appreciate someone cross checking the numbers and I'll update in a separate post. Thank you.

Your comment about the numbers not changing seems to contradicts itself. As new pilots come off ioe throughout the month they're added to the reserve list. The month starts out at about 30 and grows to about 40 plus on the 175 FO side. Not real familiar with other aircraft and bases. Go back a few posts and you'll see the numbers.
