175 will be DFW based, not moving to any other airport for what I'm seeing. LAX is a big rumor and I thing I heard someone saying that it may be opening somewhere by the end of the year or Summer of 2018. CRJ's are only in ORD and the company is selling them, so soon we will be only flying ERJ's. Flow was over 10 years, right now they're projecting for a new hire to flow to AA in 5-6 years.

-Our VP of Flight Ops has indicated that the 175 will more than likely be heading to ORD next.
-LAX opening is a Flight Attendant rumor that has been started by a FA union rep over a year ago. This rumor is akin to the other FA rumors such as: Mesa will be out of DFW by fall of 2015, the 175s will start operating with the ovens in the galley, the 2nd FA jumpseat on the 175 will be installed, the 175 will start operating to South and Central America, and etc...My sources in the know advise there is still no indication that LAX is on the horizon at this point in time. Is it out of the question? No. It very well may come at some point. But as of right now, LAX is nothing more than a wild rumor with no credibility.
-The company isn't "selling" the CRJs. AAG is transferring the CRJs to PSA. If it was up to them, the CRJs would already be gone. However, PSA can't staff them so they are here for the foreseeable future and will continue to SLOWLY dwindle away.
-Guys that are flowing right now to AA have been here about 13 years. Earlier this year guys were flowing to AA after being with the company for 16 years, so it's dropping. Flow is currently projected just under 8 years for a guy hired today. A guy hired over a year ago was looking at 5-6 years but flow has been creeping up every month since then. By the end of the year, flow for a new hire will be up to the 9 year mark. So you'll continue to see flow time drop until you reach the pilots hired last year then it starts bouncing back up.

These will be the new junior upgrades when they hit training later this year. Minus the CRJ which might have seen its last upgrade as the fleet draws down and MIA which is a small and senior former base every CA seat including the E175 is accessible with less than 2 years seniority.

This is a very accurate and constantly manipulated fact. Be aware, five year flow isn't possible for a new hire today unless the company CHOOSES to flow beyond the scope of the agreement. That historically has not happened yet.

Have things flipped? Are we now shorter on FOs than CAs? If so, how many CAs have been right seat qualified?
