Default Voluntary vs Involuntary TDY

I know it has been discussed before but where in the contract/LOAs is TDY covered? I want to see it myself but if someone wants to give the reference as well as a quick synopsis, that would be great.

I could be wrong, but I think there maybe quite a few more folks willing to upgrade to get the SNJ, but even then, I've a feeling there will be a lot of TDY the next few months.

Default A few questions

I am going to apply to Envoy and Endeavor and hope for the best. May I ask a few questions?

Is the bonus only for FO's? If I read right, Endeavors is for both?

Is it really six months to capt as written on APC profiles in New York? I like it there so I would not be worried. I assume Reserve for a long time??? Also, is it all fleets or just the 140/145?

Are uniforms paid for by the company, Ipads, KCM, Parking?

Which would you think would be better to work for? I am not really interested in the flow because of my age. I had my fun already. Looking more for travel bennies and medical bennies.

So does anyone know if I, as a 145 CA with a seat lock, will be able to displace to the 175 on this bid?

It seems like the 145 is shrinking and I'll be here 3 more years. I'd like to get to the 175 and off reserve at some point.

I realize I'd have to proffer to displace. Will they honor the guys that proffer for it, even if they have a seat lock? Or will they skip us and displace FO's over to CA?

The 145 is not shrinking. Not sure where you got that info. If anything it’s growing and it will be around a lot longer than most people think. Much more than 3years.

Probably getting it from the same place the recruiters/pilots interviewing pilots got it. Telling people in the near future Envoy will fly all the 175's, and the other 2 AAG regionals will each have a single aircraft per company.

Take a look at the 145 bid packets from a year ago compared to now in DFW and ORD. The 145 flying is shrinking out west and moving east. I commute from the west coast and a commute to LGA or MIA would not be fun.

They would have to be displacing out your seat in order for you to get a proffer to displace since you would be using the junior guy's seniority to do it. It doesn't appear any 145 CA seat is being displaced. They might shrink a seat through attrition or base transfers but I think you'll be stuck on your fleet until your seat lock expires. It doesn't hurt to try though, I have no idea what their staffing plans are or if they'll try to draw down a lot of DFW or ORD EMJ flying and push it out east. It definitely looks like LGA will be doing a lot of through flying to cover old Whisky flying based on the bid
