Starting Jan 1, 2019 you can’t flow unless you hold a CA position for one year. It does say it can be waived if you’re displaced or if Envoy decides to waive it for other reasons.

Really appreciate the reply, and I found that reference in the contract. It looks like when you upgrade you’ll have a 12 month training freeze before you can flow. Elsewhere in the contract it states that the training freeze begins 14 days before you are scheduled to report for training. Am I reading that right?

Best case (yes best case) flow scenario is 4.5 to 5 years for the group hired in 2016 going off the union interactive list.
Worse case getting 1000 hours and upgrading to CA in three years and holding the base you were FO in, best case 18months ish.
I’m not sure why some people think this is an issue at all? Perhaps down the road if uograde times stagnate to what they were previously then maybe, but can anyone see the regional going any other way than instant upgrades?
