So March bid packets are out... although still a lot of 4 day trips, I saw plenty of them like 4 on 3 off 4 on 3 off 4 on 2 off. Also some 4 on 2 off 4 on 2 off 4 on 4 off... Overall I think the schedules improved a bit. There are some 2 and 3 trips also but very few.

How does it work with the TDY people in LGA? Do they bid a LGA line with all of the others? Right now it looks like there are more hard lines than actual f/o's.

Pilots awarded temporary or seasonal vacancy(ies) will bid a line of time, relief or reserve schedule after all permanently assigned pilots have been awarded their selections. Pilots who are involuntarily assigned to a temporary or seasonal vacancy will bid their schedule in conjunction with all permanently assigned pilots.

XNA would be preferable over LIT. Loads seem to be generally better out of XNA. Looking back over the last few months, I've had more guys in the jumpseat between DFW/LIT than XNA. But either one wouldn't be a bad commute.

I heard they were planning on more, but several people had to be put in a pool since they can't keep up with the numbers for systems class. There aren't enough instructors to push more people through the program. They are trying to avoid long breaks in training.
