Okay guys like myself from Endeavor, let's stop trying to poach people thinking they're going to flock to 9E. We all have networks and know people at other airlines, guys will reach out to friends and get referred that way if they do choose. Instead of money hunting let's offer up our support, advice and answer questions for guys interested in 9E. Let's be here to help because if you all remember not too long ago 9E was a sinking ship. Let's help out however we can

I said it too. I was fat, dumb, and reasonably happy at ASA way too long. I saw the writing on the wall 2 years ago. My FOs were leaving for greener pastures. Captains with cushy family extra-income that I didn't think would leave.. left. What's his face, manager went to JetBlue. He knew what time it was. Daddy SKYW continued to take ASA flying on a monthly basis. We were losing 60 pilots a month, and I didn't want to be the last one at ASA, behind everyone else at a new airline. I have a year and 8 months seniority at Spirit now. Not at a legacy, but when we get an industry standard contract, it will be a career airline... It might take a strike.. Again.. But we'll get it. I remained on the ExpressJet FB forum until I got booted. I was able to answer many questions about Spirit, talked to several guys on the phone, and even met a new FO in the jetway the other day that I had spoken to. I would not boot previous ASA guys from forums because they can advise, and possibly help.. I feel really bad for the senior guys, like that guy from my hometown that fully committed by uprooting his fam and moving to ATL two years ago after commuting 15+ years. Fortunately, growth at other regionals + legacy retirements will help the younger guys.
