Don't worry. LASA pilots are leaving in droves. Over 100/month. At this rate, you won't need to worry about the extra airplanes UAL promised. They won't be staffed.

I didn't mind my years in EWR, but I lived in base. If you have to commute, it will be terrible. All airlines there love to build trips with 5am shows that finish at 11pm on the last day.

I'll stick around to get the free 145 type and all of my bonus then apply to a regional with real career progression like an AA WO. Enjoy the even more rapid airline shrinkage girls. It's been a business doing pleasure with you.

That's actually not a bad plan. I may do the same, but I would want the LGA base anyway so I'd be going to the 145. Sticking around for the type makes no sense for me.

UAL better get their act together on the regional side or they will find there 145's all parked with no one to fly them. I can't for the life of me see why someone starting out today would want to fly for a UAL feeder.
