Nothing since the last union call in. Attrition is still high. I’m sure it has “slowed”, but as a percentage probably the same. People who thought they would retire here are looking for options.
At some point the rumors won’t matter as we will reach a tipping point of unsustainability, at least on the CRJ side. And not even an attempt to recruit which speaks volumes.

I avoid the crew lounge in concourse C. No reason to depress myself unnecessarily.
But it’s a lesson to all the other non wholly owned regionals right now. Don’t assume you can’t be Comaired.

Silly question but seems like all the other regionals junior captains are 2014, 2015 hire dates. Why is Express Jet so much longer to upgrade ? Do guys "love it" and therefore stay, is a lack of fleet growth happening , etc ?

It's called "downsizing" on the CRJ side. Many are trying to move on.
