OO has systemically dismantled a once proud airline and its borderline criminal what they've done in a very shameless manner.
Supposedly, OO flies owned aircraft and Xjet flies airline owned aircraft. These 25 will be owned by United. That implies they are not going to OO.

Another reason these 25 won’t go to OO. No available SIM time.

Probably the largest valid point you posted was tooling, it would be one of the only expenses unique to the launch of an airframe. The rest are all incidental to new deliveries, whether you already fly them or not.
The 25 will be based in ORD or DEN, that would lean towards OO. Does SKW and Xjet maintain separate mechanics at ORD, or share mechanics and tooling?

Xjet doesn't even share mechanics. There is a L-ASA side and a L-XJET side.

I actually can see Inc letting XJT win this one as a spanking for the petulant golden children. How dare they vote down a TA?? This will be a reminder to them of what happens when they disappoint CC.

But even if the 25 go to XJT, it will probably be temporary as long as we are owned by SkyWest. Inc has figured this out with the transfer of the CRJs and bases to Inc. Let ExpressJet cover the flying for a while and spend money on constructing crew lounges and such. Then slowly poach the mechanics as they did in DTW. After all, who wants to work outside in the winter when you can work in a hanger? Then close the XJT MX base and have XJT pay Inc for substandard contract MX. After all, their priority will be their own aircraft. So our performance stats go down disappointing UAL.
Once the panicking SkyWest pilots cave in and sign, and once it's clear that SkyWest can staff the flying, SkyWest will make sure we don't win a renewal of the contract.

Aircraft don’t come with “sim’s” it comes with X-number of type rating to get pilots qualified to do the next training... in most cases thats 50~ captains/check airman

It does come with time in the dedicated Embraer-owned sim located in STL. Are you saying 25 new Ejets only comes with 50 pilots’ worth of training? Don’t think so.

Yes. Thats what im saying... its not 250 pilots worth of training for 25 aircraft. OO Ordered 400!! (200 firm 200 options) and they got around 50~ ‘ish

But i agree. Moot point. If XJT cannot get a CRJ700 deal. How are they going to get a nee type deal...

Xjet didn’t get a 700 deal because United withdrew the 700 deal and replaced it with a E175SC deal. Same deal, different aircraft.
