So INC would buy Air Whisky or Air Whisky buys XJT?

Legacy carriers control the contracts and who gets how much flying. With scope, there is only a limited pie. If one person wins, that means someone else loses. How in the heck do you think LASA went all the way down to about 400 active pilots???? When I was hired... a few years ago... I was number 1500 (or there abouts). The flying did not go away, it was transferred to another airline.
That is the reality of the dog eat dog world we live in. I would have preferred the flying come from a place like GoJet, but while I’m sorry Air Whiskey lost flying I’m not at all sorry we gained some.
United is scoped out on 70 and 76 seaters, not 50 seaters. Is there somewhere that says this flying came from Air Whiskey versus just an add of twenty 50 seaters to United’s fleet?

Communication from the union stating this is to backfill another UAX carrier. Didn’t specify which, but it’s an ORD base...

The airplanes are not being transferred to us from Air Whiskey. They will be our airplanes.
Flying we are “taking” is flying they can’t cover.

Personally, I would prefer to see our two companies merged our from under the thumb of Inc. Wishful thinking.
