It sorta seems like UAL is in no hurry to make the announcement. Since scope is maxed out, these planes will come at somebody else’s expense. The sooner they announce it, the sooner the other carrier has major attrition issues. Just look at what happened to ASA when they found out about the loss of the Delta contract.

I would think the AA flying will cause a problem with the secret clause being announced. But, maybe, for United, the two announcements go hand-in-hand.
Still worth waiting for until Feb of next year if a better job has not already presented itself.

The problem with them waiting is that we are missing out NOW on attracting new pilots. Offer that 40,000.00 bonus and advertise new 175's and they will come. It's only hurting the company by delaying.

UAL announced 25, but only 20 are contingent in the Xjet TA. 25 700’s are definitely going away between Mesa and GoJet - just maybe not all to Xjet.
