There's something called "Overplaying a hand". We did that once and the CRJ system was shut down. We were pretty much told accept and get out from Inc, or reject and have Inc shut us down.

Melit, this is not a bad contract at all... you seem think this is horrible! We kept our work rules and even tweaked a few things for the better. When I combine the hourly rates plus the EQO I am basically getting a $15hr raise putting me close to $106hr combined for a 50 seat CA. That's not bad at all of course we all wish it was better... tell me what you were expecting and you have to be realistic? all you do is be negative with no realistic expectations.

Anybody remember a long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away when Skywest pilots agreed to fly 70 seat jets for 50 seat pay?
