Also the e175 instructors are in class right now or so I’ve heard.

I believe United is going to buy XJT and turn them into a flow source like AA has done.

-or-

Nothing happens and XJT dies.
Or, it could be something in between..... XJet gets the 175’s and a United led ownership group buys Xjet, similarly to CommutAir. And, Xjet keeps CPP.

Years ago, it was laid out that there will NEVER be a flow to UAL. Granted, that was under the previous pilot hiring regime. But that decision comes down from above them.

If there’s no 175 announcement, highly likely.

Probably the most likely scenario. UAL takes a 40% stake, XJT gets out from INC, CPP remains unchanged.

Dummies, of course this is why Inc/UAL, whoever, is stringing this out. Get out!

This rumor is nothing more than to keep guys around to get through the holidays. ExpressJet is done. There will be no flow and United will not buy ExpressJet. Stop kidding yourself. Get out ASAP.

Sure there is. It protects their cheap regional feed. Do you think American just did it for fun?

I read on another board here that expressjet might open an IAD base? Anyone know anything about this?

Maybe eventually, impossible to know.

Americans feed has the same cancellation rate as Uniteds. It doesn’t protect anything.

That’s pretty myopic. There is a lot more to “protecting the feed” than cancellation rate.
