Completely incorrect

It may be incorrect but not unheard off.

Many legagcies have rules around limiting open time pick up etc. when people are on furlough. The goal is to increase jobs / keep people equally busy rather than pilling up trips on just a few.

So it is conceivable that 200% is discouraged / not permitted per union rules.

Makes perfect sense when put that way. I don’t think XJT is short on pilots all because they choose to be short. I think a strong crontributer is the fact that new pilots that would go to a regional are low in numbers and XJT is truly a fat chick with an Adam’s apple amongst other mediocre looking girls. Even if they wanted to hire, they’d really have to slim down and go through a complete makeover before they can bring all the boys to the yard.

I'm not talking about other companies. Im talking about our company and our union. What he said is not accurate.

I know at SkyWest Airlines that is true as well. The chipster hates labor, especially union labor.

I was told a pilot said he would do a trip for 200%. CS told him the best they could do was 150%, he told them when they can do 200% to call back. Less than 5 minutes later he received a call from the VP of ops and was screamed at for not helping out.

But then again we have no union protection.

They dont like to go to 200% because they think it is then that much harder to sell uncovered flying at 150%... They will when they HAVE to.

The sale is complete.

ManaAir owns 100% of Expressjet. United owns 49.9% of ManaAir.
