That’s true but didn’t you move the goal post a little from “being on reserve for years?”

And no 175 red flag assumes no more planes coming. 6 months from now this could all be very different.

No guarantee more E175s are coming and you assume we stop parking 145s. We have 10 to 15 E145s with no pilots to fly them

Very true but you are making assumptions in your wide sweeping conclusions as well.

Stayed at the Sheraton in July. Bumped into a bunch of super senior guys that were on reserve on the 175. In talking with lots of them, I’m willing to bet once their QOL gets better with more and more airframes/lines etc, that tone will change. It was a rough transition from being a 25+ year, top of the pack, living in base guy going back to training, commuting, and reserve. A few might call it quits early. Nothing noticeable though.

Any idea what the "cautious optimism" the union negotiating committee mentioned after their meeting with management entails?

Rumors and hope welcome.

Indeed, where are the “daily updates”.

The story I got from a friend currently in training was those pilots got hosed on lifetime Delta travel benefits when they canceled the contract. After 12 months under the current ownership they will get lifetime United travel benefits.

Hopefully at SA9 priority. That’s a load of dung that they get lifetime travel benefits after 12 months, if true.

Yes...they got screwed by Delta. That has nothing to do with giving out benefits that the rest of LXJT aren’t being given.
