I wouldn't go that far. Some regionals still use third-party training, have notoriously poor/inconsistent training, or perhaps are not even using AQP. Having a training failure is NOT the way to start out your 121 career.
While having some super senior pilots hurts upgrade time it does help in having pilots in the training department who have been there, done that and got the t-shirt. There were things being taught at ExpressJet long before the FAA mandated the training or still may not have mandated. I was taught high altitude stall recovery LONG before it was mandated by the FAA. I still don't think a dual relight is mandated by the FAA but I saw that in training as well. BTW, at least in the CRJ it took a radical nose down pitch to get enough airspeed for a relight.
Now should it be your number one concern? No. But I would throw it in the mix.

Bases /QOL- Yes, but they change
Commute difficulty- Very much so
Snack basket quality- Should be the number one priority
Upgrade time - Can change. I've seen this change rapidly over the years. I wouldn't be surprised to see XJT at 3 years soon.
Pay- Yes, but most are similar.
Health insurance- Yup, but takes a bunch of research to see the differences
401k Most don't understand the differences.
Travel benefits- Meh
Company culture Yes
I would add other things. Airport reserve? Ummm.... that really sucks.
All the above may be close with many airlines. I'd be really careful about trying to anticipate upgrade time being what recruiting tells you when you are hired.

Agree to disagree on this point. Perceived vs. what is known. There's proven training departments that are better than others, like XJT. I certainly hope there aren't many pilots at companies that use third parties or are known to be bad, think theirs are the best. They might all do the same thing but there's big differences in some and it should be something to be considered.

Surprise delivery: our own E175 simulator showed up at the training center and will be installed and ready by June. It's going in the empty bay.

I think there's a 175 cabin simulator going in the building across the parking lot eventually.

So E175 training will become in house as well.

Are they gonna wreck one in BPT first for that? Or is Embraer providing one?

If it means anything, it’s going into the United old simulator building.
