The laid back guy who can tell a joke over the #2 pencil will get the job any day. Unless you're applying to Delta of course. Then the #2 pencil wins.

I feel the same way, but when I interviewed at Expressjet that's what I heard from a few 60 year old captains on the shuttle who were going in for their annual refresh.

"Do you have a pulse? Hahahaha!" They all laughed, then complained about the shuttle driver's rap music: "... what is this awful noise coming from the speakers? [look at other old guy knowingly].."

It's a stupid joke, but what harm is it.
