I heard today there will be 25 in class for February.

More than that for March

Default Big classes

Yes, I would expect big classes going forward.

I interviewed and accepted a feb class there were 15 people that day and at least 10 hired.

Something else to consider.
While XJT is a bit of a gamble you will still have the option in a year or two to leave and go someplace as a DEC. It can be tough to read these things, but regionals will still probably be poaching high time FOs for a few years.

Does anyone know the exact dates for classes in April?

More FO’s means more airplanes, which in turn means faster upgrades. Assuming 20 make it through, you should be able to handle two more jets. It looks like Xjet is headed in the right direction. Can’t wait for street captains on the Ejet!

Do you really think that there are not enough FOs bidding for upgrade? Pay attention, there are plenty of posts talking about 7 plus year FOs waiting for upgrade. I've been here over 15 years and we haven't had DECs since before I was hired. We would have to have hundreds of FOs on our seniority list bypass to start seeing DECs here.

You mean that hundreds of FO’s will have to be upgraded before Xjet sees DEC’s. If Xjet hits the target of 50 new FO’s per month, that means 5 additional airplanes per month and 25 new Captains per month.

Even at half in terms of new FOs means 12 new captains per month on top of those that are being sucked up by United through CPP.

Many months like that and you will be caught up.

Even at It's peak in hiring and upgrading, the least desirable turboprop upgrade was 10 months. Guess what? No DECs, and everyone who wanted to could upgrade, in seniority order. We were training north of 60 new hires per month and no need for DECs during a time we were accepting 3 new jets per month. The 175 is going very senior.

For captains. Will be pretty junior for FOs soon.

LASA side ran a few DECs in the EMB-120. They also had a number of FOs who met the upgrade minimums get “displaced” into the left seat right after IOE.
