Here come the cancels again for crew...
Except this time the red flag isn't up and they're marking 90% of them as cancels due to flow control and airport conditions...
Why doesn't United fix the problem with overtime pay of 200%, finish the deal with the contract and make it a place people don't want to leave whenever a chance presents itself?

It’s an airline...No different than any other and critical to the fortune of the mainline network. It’s time to end the two tiered system within the airlines.
We do the same job and are necessary to the overall network. Compensate us the same...

When are you guys gonna realize the new management is not willing to cater to the pilot group, every move they’ve done since buying is jeopardize the operation rather than reward. Please wake up.
Even when they had 200% they cleared out the open time 2-3 weeks ahead of time.

Lets see, EWR was calling for 3.5 hour delays yesterday with quite a few ground stops due to weather. Crews time out, get stuck at outstations, etc which cause delays and cancellations the next day, which is what we have now - secondary cancellations due to flow control and weather. I wouldn't say that's due to a lack of actual crews.

Although your frustrations are justified, the “pay us the same” comment is not. I emplore you to read the history of decision 83. Google it. It lays the framework for how airline pilots have been paid since the air mail days. It’s based on weight and speed. It might help you understand why a 777 pays better than an e145.

Those guys are going no where lol. 60 years old and commuting for a regional job. 20 years on reserve and just fine apparently. They are quite resilient. Meanwhile everyone is feeling the pain when the company cranks up the suck factor.

Just so we all have some idea of whether you’re a LITTLE bit off the reservation, or a LOT.....can you clarify your statement? Do you think you should be paid first year mainline pay starting now, and work up? Or you think you should be paid as a 20+year mainline CA?
