Hey anyone on here going to be in the new hire pilot class mid October going to the atp on October 4 then express jet Indoc after?

Well I’m in the September 16th class and I heard the 23rd is full. I’ll let you know how it goes if your interested.

I’m aiming for the second week of October class most likely.


Does anyone have a name/address to the hotel we are staying at during training?
I want check out the area for grocery shopping and other things I may need.

Sheraton or LaQuinta IAH/North area

Or the Best Western Plus off JFK. Or the Doubletree.

There’s a liquor store nearby and Hoot County. All you need.....😆

Have to Uber to store for groceries.

Unless you are bringing a car, good luck there is nothing. Like said above JFK Liquors and Hoot. What food places there are in the plaza are closed on weekends except for Subway.

I used a service called freshly but there are other meal services that deliver pre cooked meals that need refrigerator and just microwave. they were ok served their purpose.

WalMart delivers to the hotels by IAH if you need a grocery run.

If you have a car, drive there. It is worth a 16 hour drive to have a car in Houston for four months. Driving to training instead of waiting for a shuttle to and from every day alone is worth it.
