There appears to be no pattern as to when you complete the resume, etc. etc.

But if I had to guess anecdotally, it appears to be younger and less senior people.

So cross your fingers.

But definitely take the Envoy interview instead if you're just starting.
They stated that they are offering interviews in order that they are receiving applications. Interview order has no bearing on position within the FIFO list as long as you finish your application by 10/21 you are in the first "wave" and will be put in the FIFO list on seniority order. Now how they are going to determine seniority between airlines I can't say. It may be stated on the FAQ.

This can be a fact, and what I said can be a fact.

Fact 1: Some people complete the application and get an interview right away. As few as a couple days.

Fact 2: Other people complete it and wait a week or two and STILL don't have a TBNT or anything.

Supposition: something is determining who gets to go first who gets to go later and who won't get an interview at all.

Second supposition: They are going to drag out telling you you're out so you won't intensify your job search to leave the United system.

Third supposition: The process will have to drag as they can't let everyone in due to staffing at the regionals.

Fourth supposition: It's still a gamble. And it will be a long one.

I’m surprised they are doing interviews on the front end now. I think a lot of people will head for the doors if they get a thanks but no thanks. These companies aren’t wholly owned with high quality of life. To make the program work people have to actually be getting hired. If the word gets out like the CPP people will stop coming. It’s up to United.

They stated on the call that not everyone will get an invite but it sounds like most will. They only had 400 apps on file as of last Thursday which the total of UAX exclusive pilots is well over 2000.

I wonder what’s keeping guys from getting interviewed. I’m going to assume violations/ DUI etc. But are people actually getting denials or just haven’t heard back yet in general

Anecdotally, unless they aren't telling me so, I'd say no.

I read the press release. What does the contract say? There is no mention of exjet getting anymore. You can’t staff what you have. How many 145’s are parked now?

You tell me what the contract says since you seem to know more than anyone else.

Not to get too far derailed, but after the jumpseat fiasco, I don’t think SkyWest will be getting much of anything.
