Precourse?

What is the precourse and is it pass/fail? Would like to know more about it.

I don’t know much about it. I heard it is to assess basic instrument skills as well as introduce some basic systems information. Pretty much all training is pass/fail to some extent. One thing that I’m sure of is that if you put forth effort and you are a decent pilot you will be fine.
