ExpressJet Interviews

What days of the week does XJT hold interviews?

JoeyMeatballs 05-11-2007 10:37 AM

I dont think they have specific days, only thing I can tell you is that most of those coming from the east coast do the AM interviews, and the West coast guys do the PM. When I was in training it seemed that they interviewed like2 days in a row then a few off, or then another week it was once every other day............it changes, sorry wish I could give you a better answer

thanks SAAB

from aviationinterviews.com, it seemed like it was every monday, tuesday, and wedsnesday.

either way if I get called I'll know then, was just curious

Last I heard they have stopped taking apps on the website and interviewing for a while to help the training center catch up. Haven't heard anything about recent interviews or hiring.

I interviewed on a Monday, but while in training I've seen people interview on Thursday. I think they usually like M or T, but they're also interviewing lots of agents and FAs, so it's been all over the place lately.

just went to the expressjet.com website and they are still taking applications.

I was curious about this. their company profile on apc says:

...Hiring 80/mo currently. Up to 400 new-hires in 2007...

does this mean that by the end of this month (if they have 400 hired) they will stop hiring? or are they just forecasting out as far as may? Does anyone know how long the hiring trend will continue (aside from this hickup in inflow to let the training facility catch up)? SAAB, maybe you could chime in...

no hickups to slow down training. still a new class every monday. two classes of 32 this month. hiring will continue. we have captains sitting right seat in iah because we dont have enough f/o's.

So it will most likely be more than 400 new hires this year then?

thanks for the info!

llindsay, you wouldn't happen to be an instructor at pan am in phoenix would you? Just guessing based on you listed position.
