How much do you earn first year?

Wondering, aside from bonus pay, how much do you guys bring in a month during the first year at XJT? I understand it will fluctuate, but just curious what the average amount is. Thanks.

From feb to dec 31st i hit 69k and change. Even if i stay an FO minus bonus I'd clear that this year. Due to eqo and not being on training pay.

On track to do a little over 63k first year. Best thing I tell those that I have referred here is to plan your finances during training, I’m guessing
you’re asking this question to asses your finances. Guarantee is 65 a month with no per diem. Your first part of the bonus payed out during initial helps.

Can you break that math down? 69k gross on first year pay minus 1 months salary, training pay and at least a few reserve months....?

How many credit hours a month to get to the same minus the $22k bonus for year two?

Using estimates I would say at 100 hours credit a month will get you 48k. Add in 10k for the EQO and you’re shy of 58k. Some see per diem as separate but it’ll get you in the 60k mark.

With only 100 credit hours a month plus per diem its 68080 so if i quit being lazy and pick up a turn every few months ill break 69k as an FO. Theres some trips in opentime that ill abuse. DH to the outstation i live at an overnight then one leg back to IAH sure ill take 2 days pay for 1 hr of work lol. Occasionally ive seen a DH 30 hour overnight then operate a flight out those are easy money.

Help me understand the math here...if you’re including the full 10k EQO (which you won’t get all 10k the first year), that’s over $800/month in per diem?

42.40X100 x12 + 10000 equals 60880 I did per diem at 600 per month. My TAFB is usually 330 350 per month X 1.95

Don't forget im on 2nd year pay.

AH ok you had a typo on the first response “68080” vs “60800”
