I have asked this question a few months ago but am looking to see what the chances of getting assigned a Newark Base with ExpressJet would be. If not right away are folks getting their first choices within a few months. I know they have a couple new bases which are going junior recently. And where is ONT?

yup, its down in the LA Basin, probably....40 min from LAX, depending on traffic.

You have the mountains about 40 min away, beach about 40 min away, and mexico about 1.5 hours away (all driving times).

Theres worse places you could be stuck =)

Is EWR senior to IAH, or the other way around. Also, any news on a change in the mins?

I heard EWR is junior enough to hold a line after about 2 months. But please don't take my word on that....

Yeah a buddy in my class held a line after two months in EWR. I am in houston and don't have a line yet but should get one in the next month. In case you're wondering I started in Dec. 06

I would think you won't have trouble getting EWR because most people don't want it. It is in Jersey after all!

I love jersey, close to the city. A lot of Diversity, and its a nice state.;) If I could jump for ExpressJet @ EWR at the moment, ill do it in a heartbeat.

I think EWR will be my 1st choice since I gotta commute from TPA.
