Don't know what you mean by "schtick." The poster simply posted a reference to an article but it did not address that AMERICAN owns the 20 175s currently flown by Compass. As you may or may not know, that contract is up this year. You may have seen speculation that these will be coming to Envoy and may include an LAX base. I'm simply stating facts here.

Speculation means nothing. Sure Envoy is the logical choice for those jets in the he minds of Envoy pilots, but AA can put them wherever they want. Don’t be surprised if when the contract is up those 175’s wind up at Skywest, Republic, or Mesa (long shot but a possibility).

Regardless of where any of these airplanes go.. how will these frames be staffed if any of these airlines are having difficulty staffing their current feed not accounting for growth? Also the big 3 Mesa Sky and Repub fly for other partners. What if one of their other mainline partner ask them to fly more for them for more money? Summer is coming and it’ll be interesting to see how staffing plays in to this situation

I think Endeavor will be ok. So basically what you are saying is the exclusive United carriers are in trouble. Surely United is figuring this out and will take steps to correct the problem.
