Depends on which character in the story and at what time the word was utilized.

Just outa curiosity, a friend of mine who is no longer at Expressjet, has been trying without luck to get their surface unlocked. After 2 weeks of trying got told no they can't do it.

So they payroll deduct the price of the surface then don't unlock it?

Your friend has to contact the company and they will give him a code. At least that’s how it was last year.

They are refusing to give the code because apparently 'flight ops' need to authorize it and they aren't talking.

MQ pilots received an official word that you guys can jumpseat on us (seat in the back) till 13 October. Hopefully that'll make someone's flight home easier.
