What is crt and vx. Also how does the imputed tax thing work? It sucks to hear that management is a buttface over there. Hopefully there is a good contract cooking for the folks over there.

Man it looks like Amazon is buying up 767s. They are up to something down the road.

CRT is Credit Rig Time. 4.85 hours of pay for each 24 hours at work, prorated. So if you start at 1200z, you only get half of the 4.85. Comes out to somewhere between 76-81 hours of pay per month.

VX is volunteering to work on days off. Trips are awarded in seniority order. A trick I use is to drop VX days on the end of my pattern, and call scheduling to keep me on the road. Works some times. Adds up to some nice coin.

Imputed tax... Couldn't tell ya, I've never had it taken out of my check. Rumor is the lady who handled it quit, and was never replaced. Who knows.

Supposedly, from the lastest email from the Union, we should have an arbitrated contract done sometime around mid-May, unless I read it wrong.

thank you for the info. 76 hrs a month is pretty darn good money add the per diem and it could get even better.

I will add, CRT works out well for the 747 and 777 guys. The 767 don’t pull in as much credit unless you are able bid the long haul stuff. 737 guys are pretty close guarantee majority of the time.

This is good info. I'm on the 747 side, and don't know much about the 767 operation. I do hear it feels like a completely different airline over there.
