Does this restart make any sense to anyone?

Do pilots have jumpseat agreements to allow them to get to Reno?

Where are tickets being sold? (Kind of important question these guys aren't answering.)

Who is xjt hiring to run dispatch/scheduling/maintenance?

If these guys are gonna put an airline back together, shouldn't there be a massive amount of marketing and hiring?

I can't even find essential air service applications..... No news anywhere about "new flights from Reno". Nothing

This sure looks like some kind of attempt to cash out some PSP money and say "well, we couldn't make it work" and just liquidate.

I think the guys behind this just wanted to find a buyer for the certificate, and since they didn't they want to cover payroll and close up.

All excellent questions, and sure would be good to know.

Does the union have more info?

I can’t believe anyone would accept recall with so little info to go on…

It makes me wonder if there is a timeline that they have to spend the $20 million in bailout money. It seems the corporate bubbas are probably still paying themselves salaries out of it otherwise they wouldn’t have offices. I’m sure they’re not working for free and they obviously have zero revenue coming in.

It all does seem a bit fishy.

Have you emailed one of the Expressjet reps?
I have received an email response each time I sent an email. Recently.

Any response to the kinds of questions above?

The contract will be enforced. There are numerous grievances that are outstanding and need to be addressed. Recalls will be offered by the company in seniority order. Many issues need to be addressed by the company before confidence is restored. One thing mentioned is how does the company plan to implement IT? IOW, there are many unanswered questions. It has been several weeks since any communication between me and Alpa. Some of these questions could have been answered by the company but not put out to the pilot group yet. I get the sense that things are developing but Alpa is expecting more info from the company.
If anyone wants more info I suggest you send an email to one of the Expressjet Alpa reps.

Semantics. The XJT Alpa Custodians. Same people, different title. If you were receiving Alpa email, you should have something to reference for an email address to use. Simple research will turn up an email address to use that will get you to the right people. You're welcome.
