Aha! So that's where ExpressJet went.

PSC, MFD, EUG, RDM, and FAT are all served by Allegiant out of LAS. Allegiant could easily serve them out of Reno as well. These clowns think they are going to serve it out of Reno on clapped out high seat mile cost RJs, and recalled crews maxed out on their pay scale? Yeah okay.

I give them less than 6 months.

I’ll give it 12 months. This is such a stupid idea that I don’t even know where to begin. Usually, I sit on the sidelines when it comes to management-type decisions cuz I uncharacteristically realize that I’m just a simple pilot, but really, this is dumb. It’ll be fun to watch.

Definitely seems like a "unique" choice for an airline business model. As a 49.9% stakeholder in ManaAir, I'm curious as to what United's real financial stake is in this operation.

All I can say, is I have always wanted to go from Reno to Bakersfield.....
