ExpressJet Documents

For those who have or are interviewing. I currently do not have a passport yet...I am waiting for it. Is a passport required paperwork for the interview or would a receipt for one work? I am unable to find the document requirements on their site let alone hour requirements but hours are not of concern.

Thanks

Well if you don't have it now and you didn't request it expedited, you won't have it anytime soon. Mine took 4 months and I applied in April. Go with the receipt, if they say its not good enough, go back when you have the passport. The receipt was good enough for RAH, but don't know about XJT specifically.

the receipt should suffice for a little while, but they are going to want to have it asap. just make sure all your other documents are in order and all ready to go before you get there...

good luck

Just bring your receipt / proof. It will be enough. They know all about the problems right now, but. You need a passport for IOE, so PAY THE MONEY and have it expedited. I know in some citites you can actually go to wherever they are issued and get it the same day. But the receipt is fine for the interview, but you better get it before you get late in training. Otherwise get your ducks in order and good luck!

Right on, I had it expedited. Thanks.

Yes, bring the reciept but you need to bring some other proof of citenship. At least that is what the instructions say. When are you interviewing? I'll be there thursday.

Valid U. S. Passport* (copy only picture page)
or Valid Foreign Passport (copy only picture page) and I551 stamp,
or Permanent Residence card
*If you do not have a passport or social security card, you must have one before you come to class. Please place a copy of a receipt showing you have applied for one in the stapled packet for the interview.

Does anyone know if we can standby a flight the night before with the tickets they sent us? I would love to get there fresh in the morning but don't want to cause any trouble.

PM me.

Its standby travel, I don't see why not. You might not make it to the interview if you don't allow yourself at least 2-3 flights.

They give you a positive space ticket not space available...unlike some other carriers.

av8tr_2007 08-21-2007 03:56 PM

Does positive space mean I can go standby the night before?

Does anyone know what hotel the crew stays at? That would make it easier to catch a shuttle in the morning.
