Hello All. Well, I'm glad to see little Cal is stilll teamed up with Big Cal. My questions are, Did Express get the United CPA or is that still open to anyone? Second, any truth to the rumors of fuloughs in the fall? Third, is there any hiring going on right now?

Anyway lets' keep this thead civil guys and gals, it may grow as big as Comairs.

2. Any rumors are just that...rumors.
3. No hiring at this time.

United - we shall see.

Furloughs - none yet, but you never know. However, now we have at least 190 planes for 7 years, which is about 2000 pilots. And our ability to pursue other flying is greatly increased, so it would have to get really bad to lose everything down to 190 planes. But at least this way I feel a lot more secure.

As of right now, no final decision has been made for Branded. They will try to keep it alive if they can and shrink it greatly if they need to, before closing it down completely. However, we now have a door to bring the airplanes out and put them in the CAL system if we need to, and it is up to us.

We'll know the answers to at least two of your questions by fall. In the mean time, I doubt we'll be hiring 'til next year. In this industry, you never know.........

Branded has the load factor, its the "Fuel factor" come fall, I am sure that will be the deciding factor

Then you have to factor in all those other factors to come up with your final factor. And then, it's only a statistical factor and that point. THEN , factor in if all the factors that were factorable.
