Xjt

On September 2nd, 500 pilots will be furloughed, 30 aircraft parked and branded flying will be done for. This sucks. I don't fly for them but have a couple close friends that do on the branded side.

A friend on the branded side who sat through a meeting today in which James Ream spoke. That's where.

the info comes from the employee road show in ontario where JR and co. are divulging the bad news as we speak.

Slight amendment to the above data (based on txt msg from buddy who's in the meeting)... 39 jets to be parked, 25% block hour reduction for october, total furlough numbers still unsure.

The reality of the current situation in our industry is really starting to sink in fast. I really feel for the XJT guys, good luck to all affected.

Sucks, the branded was a fantastic product, and the flying was a blast. I loved my time on the branded side based in ONT. The product and business plan were great, but there is just NO way for it to survive in this environment. Good Luck to all my fellow XE family.
