I'm on the site right now and I see NO mention or hint of that. There is always a possibility of someone buying XJT though. I wouldn't necessarily be against it. It must be flame bait.

Rev. Bedford does not want more 50 seat jets, so this is very unlikely.

just for clarification I'm not trying to flame at all. I haven't posted but maybe 3 times in the past several months! I have better things to do.... I wouldn't doubt if its flame I just figured it might be possible with the current stock price at xjet that someone might try a takeover or buyout

Well, its the only way for a regional to do business with CAL. So it wouldn't be for the 50 seat jets. It would be for the CPA with CAL.

Yeah, I wasn't saying you were flaming. I was saying that the post on republic's board may have been flame bait.

If RAH does buy XJT, they would be required to abide by the pilot's contract which would require a merger of all operations and seniority lists.

It would be a similar circumstance as with the skywest attempted merger, where by our pilot contract requires merging the list which would bring ALPA on property almost by default, and I don't see it happening. Plus, as stated above, the reverend and his cult following have stated on multiple occassions that they would like to get away from all 50 seaters.

Flame bait all the way to the bank.

But then Bedford could make his wet-dream reality and get 190's on property! LoL

LOL, that's funny! The sad part is that I've actually met pilots that wouldn't have any problems flying those birds at the regional level
