CAL come out with fall numbers yet? How's the UAL flying going? Fall furloughs still look likely? I'm pulling for you guys, better pay than most with an industry leading contract......lets hope RAH steps up, gets a great contract, and doesn't ruin it for everybody!

It's a little ironic that a person who runs around dissing another pilot group and their company left and right feels insulted when someone says XJT isn't in good financial health and needs a different strategy. I guess I could sink to the same level and start calling people "scabs" and "Cancers of the industry" as you have but I actually like talking about the topics made with a certain amount of sincerity since what affects one affects us all. This is a thread about XJT on a public forum. We're all free to talk about it and there's no reason we can't so long as we keep it professional. Stop crying all the time.

How DARE you badmouth Express Jet!?! You will burn forever for such thoughts! Whatever... No wonder Mr. Balls/Saabrewski got expelled. There are one or two others who should be as well. He has/had good points, but had more negative feed than anything else. Great representation for a an airline pilots union...

For someone who vehemently defends RAH, its ironic that you applaud saab being banned for doing the same for his own company.

Thank you,

-Mr. Balls

PS For the fellow XJT guys I think the final block hr numbers for the fall should be known the middle of this week

Defending your own company is one thing. Insulting people on a non-stop basis, calling entire pilot groups SCABS and CANCERS OF THE INDUSTRY is completely different. For all my opinions and views that people don't agree with I've never spoken bad about a single pilot group. It's bad mojo and like most I agree the pilots are at the hands of their managements.

stop talking because you have and most definitely will again. I understand why you dont like your pilot group getting bad mouthed but to be quite honest i think if you take a step back and look at what has happened and your pilot groups "lack of" a response or any constructive event for the profession.... it is to be expected. No offense but if you are surprised then maybe your ethics and morals are out of whack.

this week will be very telling for the fall.

1. I don't think of your pilot group as a bunch of scabs. I don't blame the pilot group for what is happening right now...however, I do think your management is indeed the cancer of the industry.

2. I wouldn't say you've NEVER spoken badly about another pilot group.

JetBlast77 07-01-2009 05:29 AM

I wonder what would happen to this rivalry if RAH bought XJT. Apparently they are/were considering it. Either way, it would be nice to see a better defined plan for the future of XJT.

LivinTheDream28 07-02-2009 02:20 PM

Joey, what's the word on the fall block?

Are you the RAH guy that actually took the time to call me and leave psychotic messages without leaving their phone number?

As far as block hours go, we are taking a tremendous hit for the fall...................

Roper92 07-10-2009 05:23 AM

Why would you get on an XJT thread and then block out the XJT pilot with the info? You are obviously not on here for information.

JetBlast77 05-18-2010 09:53 AM

As much as I hate to resurrect this thread, whats going on over there these days?

177 still on the street, everyone *****ing about being understaffed, no additional recalls in the foreseeable future.

newarkblows 05-18-2010 04:50 PM

FUBAR... Captains at 150% pay for open time pick up for almost 4 months straight, Reassignments at end of pairings, most recently 200% pay to try and fix a lack of staffing in both seats since February. Crews are getting to the point of exhaustion. We have cut costs to the bone to try and be profitable.

Try providing factual info. Your anti ExpressJet flamebait rants are getting old. You really should find something better to do.

I think his SKW ego was bruised because the XJT MEC told his CEO to go pound sand.

flyingkangaroo 05-20-2010 12:30 PM

the market is down big today, but xjt is down over 15%... what happened? Any news of just a massive sell off?

Wait did you say they reduce the flying during peak season (summer)?

Bloodhound 05-20-2010 08:24 PM

That post was from last year when CAL was cutting capacity.
