No, it isn't stealing because the flying was never the regional's to begin with.

I knew it was only a matter of time before the word "steal" shows up in this thread. Next on the list: That's our flying! Stand by for the drama queens.

Congratulations to the Expressjet pilot group if this is true. I hope this generates recalls in the near future.

Looking at the LOA with the EXACT amount and going by APC for AWAC's rates, XJT is lower in most years but not less than $2/hr. In Oct there is a raise where it's identical when you round the LOA's numbers to the APC numbers.

AWAC FO rates exceed XJT's by $1-2 depending on YOS.

But who has a better contract? I say XJT.

Last time I checked APC they were a little off (XJT Rates). But when you throw the contract in, the hourly wage is completely pointless.

Which is why I posted this;

I was using LOA9 rates, NOT the APC rates.

And yes, we all know that a CBA can invalidate a pure pay rate comparison. Especially when they are pretty close on a dollar for dollar comparison.

From what I understood XJet had a bunch of planes just sitting. So they undercut all the other regionals to guarantee some flying for those parked planes.

In the end, United probably once again chose the cheapest option, but were lucky enough to get a MUCH more efficient airline than what they have now

MESA and Trans States. Kind of ironic for TSA because UA 50 seaters is all they do, plus they got people on furlough. Kind of ironic for Mesa because they're supposed to lose 26 UA CRJ2s.

That's a certainty.
