Expressjet Furloughs who took the job at ASA
I have a question. Can anyone confirm or disconfirm (if that's a word) what I have heard about a "deal" you guys got regarding your longevity? If you don't want to put it on here in the open feel free to PM me.

From XJT MOU 18;
C. ExpressJet pilots who accept a position at ASA will concurrently retain and continue to accrue longevity at ExpressJet Airlines during their time at ASA.
D. Pilots who accept a position at ASA and later return to ExpressJet will have all of their accrued benefits converted back to the appropriate ExpressJet levels.

4. Notwithstanding Section 2.KK. and Section 3.A. of the ASA CBA regarding compensation and benefits, a furloughed XJT pilot hired at ASA will retain and use his XJT longevity and will accrue longevity at ASA, as adjusted for inactive service that he has accrued at XJT as provided in Section 2 of the XJT CBA.

I heard something like, the ExpressJet guys got their longevity plus like a 6 month advance or something like that. Say if you were with express for 2 years before furlough, you would come to ASA with 2 1/2 years longevity. So then you would only have 6 months before your next raise. That's just what I heard and it sounded really far fetched but I was curious. Obviously the person who told me this was misinformed. Thanks for the responses guys.
