Realistic Salary for ExpressJet

I was trying to get a realistic gross salary for both your first and second year at ExpressJet that maybe includes some extra flying.

I'm aware of the hourly pay for all a/c plus per diem, but I would like to try to get a more accurate number. Any reasonable numbers / insight would be much appreciated! Thanks all.

Why not ask this in the XJT thread already going on?

My friend made about 24k the first year, 33k the second year.

Lots of time on reserve with minimal flying...

Because we are dealing with the "gimme gimme gimme" generation. Too much work to post there.

Realistically, who wants to read sixty-five pages, just to maybe, find an answer to their question?

1st check will always be 37.5xhrly rate ($37 or $40) minus taxes and deductions (401k,medical,etc). Mid month is same plus any extra flying over guarantee plus Per diem from previous month.

SiShane 07-21-2016 05:09 AM

On average I say on reserve they rarely work you over 75 and per diem is roughly 100-120 hrs/mo. As line holder I average 85-90 hrs of credit with 300+ hrs of per diem. Highest I ever credited for month was 116 but that, was before Part 117 rules. However last month I hit 110. Hope that helps paint a picture.
