Why Do My Post(s) Require Moderator Approval?
"Pre-Moderation" causes your post to initially go to a holding queue for moderator approval (should be approved within 24 hours). This can happen for any of several reasons:

New users can now create threads in addition to posts, but all threads and posts will be pre-moderated. Once you have been registered for two (2) days and have made two (2) posts the pre-moderation requirement will be lifted.

Additionally there are a variety of hot button keywords, often related to divisive political topics, which can trigger pre-moderation for most users. These will be updated over time, so the keywords will not be listed here but if you avoid extremism and language which will inflame other users, then the odds are good that your post will not have to wait for approval.

How do I get a custom title on my user name?
User Title:

The user title is the title line of text that displays right under the user name.

We have 4 options on APC:

"New Hire", "On Reserve", "Lineholder", and "Gets Weekends Off" are system-provided custom titles that change (advance) as a user's post count increases.

Post requirements for user titles are:

New Hire: 0-9 Posts
On Reserve: 10-24 Posts
Line Holder: 25-99 Posts
Gets Weekends Off: 100+ Posts

At 500 posts, users can add their own custom title by selecting "Edit Your Details' under the User Control Panel (User CP in the upper left of this screen).
