Personal Endorsement
#91
Back on topic...the FCIF with the new Pro/Perf Endorsements confused me, maybe I wasn't the only one.
The truth: We can only have ONE Endorsement active per 24 month period as stated in the FCIF. We can choose it to be Personal or Professional.
I incorrectly thought we could have one each running concurrently.
I also incorrectly thought that new process was a puff of smoke. I no longer think that after getting educated. As stated in the FCIF, it's a monthly look from the Chief Pilots, that gets pushed TO HR, vice the quarterly HR algorithm that gets pushed TO the Chief Pilots. The new system reverses the polarity.
From what I understand, it's a win for the pilots to help candidates. Those candidates still need to meet the mins as always, but this new PE is closer to a silver bullet than a puff of smoke.
My lessons learned: I can only have one active PE at a time, and I can choose for it to personal or professional based on my relationship with the candidate.

I'd say that's a great sign. My PE hasn't heard squat and he's got me and a Legacy Endorsement from his father.

Does he meet the preferred mins yet? I have another friend who got an endorsement but the endorser received an email telling him the endorsee was not “in the zone yet“ likely because he did not meet the preferred mins and they didn’t want the endorser to waste his endorsement on him.

Without the 1k you wont get a call. Its a hard min. No one in the last at least 6 years has gotten a call without it. Wont change soon either just ask the CP. Plenty of apps who have it.
