Grnd trans from IND to downtown

Called Carey limo requesting Fedex rate from the pax terminal to downtown. Wasn't impressed. What's the best gouge for getting downtown? Is Uber or Lyft even an option?

I have used them and it was easy. They only drop off at certain spots but they are easy walking distance to the hotels. (See map on website).

Uber. The pickup point is a little hike. There is a board on the sidewalk designating where they will stop. Link below from Uber.

Maybe I'm lucky with my bank situation, but $54 including tip using Embarque (former Cary), hub or pax terminal to Omni with a dedicated driver waiting on me is worth it.

I've also used AAA Indy taxi and established a dedicated driver there. $35 plus tip. He'll be waiting outside the hub security like any other limo guy.

Fastest is a cab. Around $37. Take the escalator down to baggage, break left and go out the far set of doors. Turn left again and the cab call button is on the big round post by the curb. Push the button, watch the next cab pull out farther to your left then walk out to the street and climb in. All total about a 60 second wait from the time you push the button. Many times people are milling around without pushing the button, I guess they are waiting for cabs to pull up which they won't do. So make sure you push and then look up the street and see which cab starts moving....that's yours. Also, there are drivers sitting around at the curb waiting for people to exit baggage, I usually just walk out into the street to make eye contact with the driver that is mine so he has no confusion where he is going to pick me up.

You'll be driving before you would have ever made the Carey counter.

Used UberX, $20.05 , 13.43 miles, 16:39 TO to TD. waited about 5 mins. Pick up is zone A which is a bit confusing but a little looking around found it. Quicker and cheaper than past cabs or waiting for the shuttle.
