Nope - what I’m suggesting is a person on reserve would be paid 6 credit hours and work 12 days in a 4 week bid period vice the current 15.

For starters:
Long call
Short call
Aggressive pick up options for trips by reserve pilots once past BLA deadline for line-holders
Bypass trip assignment option based on seniority

Long call and short call (no less than 2 hour callout (not reduceable) and if you voluntarily show less bc they need you quickly there'll be extra pay involved, shorter airport standby periods to match the rest of the major airlines (4 hours), MAX number of standbys or extra pay for each additional unused stby beyond 2 or 3, ability for reserves to aggressive pick up open time trips after a certain time period prior to scheduling assigning them, auto release on last day of reserve if not used by certain time, making reserves equal in terms of commuter policy for commuting in for a reserve assignment/period, ability to fly trips on draft that begin prior to a reserve block and that run into R days and to be paid for them and NOT have dropped for makeup, NOT having to call at the end of a trip on reserve or at every waking moment on reserve (check vips at block in and if no assignment, you’re released)

The list goes on.....

Cannot be assigned another trip while in the field. Released to that assignment and only that assignment until returning to base.

Ex: assigned MEM-MKE, layover 14 and back to MEM at midnight. Cannot stick a hub turn on your schedule while out on a trip. Must be given to next person on list

to add to the Reserve discussion: Fix R-24 and stop making it auto hotel standby on 30 minute alert.

1. Change the retirement system to where my financial fate is completely severed from the fate of Fedex once I retire.

2. I get to call in sick for a cold without a doctor's note.

3. No non-seniority list pilots flying our planes. None. Including flight test.

Do away with the increasing seat locks as one progresses through career. For those of us with long careers ahead these seat locks (longest in the entire industry) will limit our ability to exercise seniority. I am fine with the 24 month per move lock but the 36 and 60 month seat locks are atrocious.

When all the dust settles, 57% will not strike. 2015 will never come again, this was the best opportunity and it was blown away first by the NC, then the MEC who endorsed the POS TA and Finally by 57%

This is by far the weakest union and crew force I’ve ever came accross. They didn’t have the ⚽️ 🏀 🏈 to fight even when they were in the best position to win.

Nice sound bite.

It was the "best opportunity"? How? Was the RLA suspended for that negotiation? Or are you referring to the 'leverage' unicorn again.

Life is too comfortable here for any reasonable person to even suggest a strike. Be realistic.

Top 3:

1. Increased B plan contributions.
2. Elimination of substitution. Company cancels a trip, pilots get paid.
3. Convert RSA/DSA to scheduled and unscheduled PTO like thousands of non-airline companies have done.

This type of thinking “Life is too comfortable here for any reasonable person to even suggest a strike.” is why the contract will never be improved. I guess you won’t strike even if the company decides to cut you pay in half, scrap your retirement, force PBS down your throat? SMFH

1. Leave the A Fund the FOOK alone!
1A. Massive pay rate increase
1B. Massive increase to B fund to IRS limits, add cash over cap
2. Eliminate sub is an outstanding idea
3. Real time trip trading
